BRYSON STORIE FLY FISHING
Guided Trips & instruction
freshwater Guided Trips
Our local lakes are filled with vast expanses of clear, shallow water where our target species - carp, smallmouth buffalo, and gar - feed. These flats present a perfect opportunity for anglers to sight-cast for tailing or rolling fish. Similar to redfish and bonefish, carp can be challenging due to their wariness, which is why stealth and presentation are key. Gar, on the other hand, can offer aggressive, visual eats making pursuit of these prehistoric fish exciting.
What truly makes this trip unique is utilizing our Maverick HPX-T technical poling skiff, equipped with a poling tower and casting deck, giving the angler the best chance to spot fish, present the fly, and see the eat.
Skiffs aren't only for the coast. Sightcasting freshwater flats from a technical poling skiff ensures maximum stealth and gives the angler unparalleled visuals of fish and fly presentation
